Alabama also has the most National Championships in Power 4 with 16 followed by the Fighting Irish with 13. The Crimson Tide last won it all in 2020 under former head coach Nick Saban. Notre Dame, which played for the title this past season but came up short against Ohio State, last won the whole thing in 1988 under Hall of Fame head coach Lou Holtz.
