I think the Indiana story is extremely cool and I love that Cignetti decided to stay there, but the “Clutch Gene” Heisman moment being shown for Fernando Mendoza is from a game against 3-5 Penn State. Can’t help but being reminded how watered down these B1G schedules were in 2025
It’s a legit discussion. G5 needs its own playoff. I mean high school football has figured this out. The NFL has rules and a structure in place that breeds parity. FBS in college football has two distinct classes. Why not let the lower resourced programs play for something?
